Hugo Ball Signs Scholarship
Hugo Bull has officially signed his scholarship with Crystal Palace! 🔵🔴
Hugo Talent-X at the start of the 24/25 JPL season and quickly caught the eye of scouts at Palace. Following a successful trial, his hard work and dedication have paid off, earning him this next exciting step in his football journey.
We’re proud to have played a part in Hugo’s development, and this achievement is a true reflection of the effort he’s put in along the way. It’s exactly the kind of story we love to see, a player backing himself, seizing his opportunity, and earning a move to a Premier League academy.
Hugo you are an inspiration to every Talent X player and we can’t wait to follow your journey.
Showcase Game
Our U10 & U12 squads recently had the fantastic opportunity to visit Arsenal’s Youth Academy and take part in academy fixtures against Arsenal.
It was a brilliant experience for the boys, who stepped up to the challenge and performed extremely well against a top professional academy. Both squads showed great attitude, competed throughout, and demonstrated the quality and progress they have been working hard on in training.
Playing against a club like Arsenal provides a fantastic test for our players and gives them valuable experience of the demands and standards of academy football.
A huge well done to all the boys involved.
U13 Harry Brandon Signs at Cambridge
We are absolutely delighted to announce that Talent X Academy goalkeeper Harry has signed for Cambridge United!
Harry has been with us for over six years, and throughout that time we’ve seen first-hand just how much hard work, commitment and resilience he has put into his football.
There have been plenty of challenges along the way, but Harry has continued to work, continued to improve and, most importantly, never stopped believing in himself.
To now see all of that hard work rewarded with an opportunity at Cambridge United is something everyone at Talent X & M1 Goalkeeping is incredibly proud of.
After more than six years with us, it will obviously be sad to see Harry move on, but this is exactly what the pathway is all about. Seeing one of our own earn the opportunity he has worked so hard for makes it all worthwhile.
A fantastic goalkeeper, but more importantly a brilliant young man who thoroughly deserves his chance.
Congratulations Harry — everyone at Talent X Academy is incredibly proud of you. Go and smash it!
Tournament Winners
Over the summer holidays, Talent-X squads have been busy putting their preparation to the test, competing in a number of exciting pre-season tournaments against professional academies, teams from across Europe and some of the best grassroots sides from across the UK.
These tournaments provide invaluable experience for our players, giving them the opportunity to test themselves against different styles of football, compete in high-level games and experience the demands of playing at the next age group.
And it wasn’t just valuable experience, our players also managed to bring home some silverware! 🏆
A huge congratulations to our U15s, who battled their way to Silver Cup success. A fantastic achievement and a great way to round off their pre-season preparations.
Well done to all of our players who represented Talent-X throughout the summer and are looking forward to entering more in October!
SATURDAY SOCCER SCHOOLS START
Our Saturday Soccer Schools at Redbourn Leisure Centre were a fantastic success throughout August, with boys and girls joining us each week for fun, engaging football sessions.
The sessions gave players aged 5-12 the chance to work with our professional coaching team, develop their football skills and build confidence, all while enjoying themselves and meeting new players.
From improving technique and game understanding to developing confidence on the ball, the sessions provided a great way for players of all abilities to stay active and continue their development over the summer.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout August. It was great to see so many young players enjoying their football and getting ready for the new season! 
And the good news is, we’re still running our Saturday Soccer Schools every week!
Every Saturday U5-U8s: 9am-10am U9-U12s: 10am-11am
