Costa Blanca Cup
Talent X hit the international stage this July as we took our U16 and U17 Boys, along with our U16 Girls, to sunny Benidorm to compete in the prestigious Costa Blanca Cup.
Regarded as one of the top youth tournaments in Europe, the event welcomed teams from across the globe, creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the week. From the moment we arrived, the excitement was clear – and the spectacular opening ceremony only added to the sense of occasion. With hot weather, world-class facilities, and elite-level opposition, it was the perfect environment for our players to experience tournament football at its best.
Our U16 Boys impressed with a strong run that saw them reach the quarter-finals, with hopes still alive for a semi-final spot. The U17 Boys also delivered on the big stage, battling their way to a place in the semi-finals with some great performances along the way.
Meanwhile, our U16 Girls team proved once again why they are one of the most exciting young squads around. They showed great spirit, teamwork, and quality to reach the semi-finals, competing with top sides from different nations and doing the academy proud.
Trips like these are about more than just football – they are about creating memories, building team spirit, and learning what it means to represent Talent X on an international level. A huge well done to all the players and coaches who took part and represented us so brilliantly both on and off the pitch.
We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved and we’re already looking forward to our next adventure.

U9s Showcase Talent Against Brentford FC Academy
Our U9s had an exciting series of competitive fixtures against Brentford FC Academy this month. These games are vital for their development, giving them the chance to test their skills against high-quality opposition and gain valuable match experience.
Superstar U6s and U7s Gain Top-Level Experience
Our U6s took part in a great fixture against Fulham FC, soaking up the atmosphere and learning from a professional environment. Similarly, our U7s faced off against Sheffield United, gaining important experience that will help shape their football journeys.
Providing these elite opportunities is a key part of the Talent-X pathway, and we’re proud to see all our young players growing and improving every day.
Showcase Games Round-Up
July was packed with high-level experiences for our young squads as they took part in some fantastic showcase games against professional academies.
Our superstar U9s kicked things off with an unforgettable fixture at the Arsenal Academy. The players rose to the occasion with energy, skill and plenty of smiles. A brilliant reward for their hard work and a day to remember.
Later in the month, our U10, U11 and U13 squads travelled to face Colchester United Academy. These games provided a great challenge and another step forward in their development. The quality on show was excellent and it’s clear our players are heading in the right direction.
Experiences like these are key to growth, helping players build confidence, test themselves, and learn in competitive environments.
A huge thank you to Arsenal and Colchester United for hosting us. We’re now looking ahead to an exciting 2025/26 season.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that @olliesalter11 has officially signed his scholarship with Tottenham Hotspur FC ✍️⚽️
From his early days at PSA, representing us from U10 to U14 in the @jnrpremleague , showcase matches, and 1-to-1 sessions, Ollie has continually shown outstanding commitment, attitude, and talent.
Now, he begins an exciting new chapter in full-time football with Premier League giants @spursacademy
This is an incredible achievement and a testament to Ollie’s dedication. We couldn’t be prouder and we can’t wait to follow his journey!

✍️ Ollie Webster & Chris Swaby Sign For Wycombe Wanderers FC
Congratulations to Ollie and Chris on officially signing with @wwfcofficial!
Ollie has secured a 2-year scholarship, while Chris signs a 2-year professional contract — both were key players in our @cheshamutdfc U18s squad last season.

Fun for our U6s at the Soccer Elite Festival
Our brilliant U6s had a fantastic day at the Soccer Elite Tours and Tournaments Festival on Sunday 20th July. Despite a slightly rainy start to the morning, the weather did nothing to dampen their energy or smiles.
The players showed great enthusiasm from the first kick and put in a brilliant effort throughout the day. There were goals, celebrations and some lovely bits of play on show. Most importantly, the children had loads of fun and made great memories with their teammates.
Events like these are a perfect introduction to football for our youngest age groups and it was lovely to see so much support from families on the side lines.
Well done to all the players involved. The future is bright.
Open Trials Wrap Up Ahead of the New Season
The Talent X Open Trials have officially come to an end and what a brilliant few weeks it has been. We welcomed a fantastic turnout of players from across the region and were blown away by the standard on display throughout each session.
From the first whistle to the final minute, the effort, attitude and technical ability shown by the trialists was outstanding. Coaches and staff were impressed not only by the level of football but also by the maturity and commitment shown by players of all ages.
It was great to see new faces blending in quickly and giving everything they had to make their mark. The energy and excitement reminds us exactly why we love doing what we do.
Now our attention turns to the upcoming season and we could not be more excited. With new players coming into the fold and our squads starting to take shape, there is a real buzz around the academy. We are confident this will be one of our strongest years yet both on and off the pitch.
A massive thank you to everyone who took part in the trials and to the families who continue to support their children’s football journey with us. We are building something special and we cannot wait to see how far we can go.
The hard work starts now. Let’s get ready for the season ahead.
